Classes are taught by Jessica Horstman Sabatini, Artistic Director

 

IMPORTANT! If you have not registered with YPPC before, it is a 3-step process:

1. Parent Registration (for new families)

2. Student registration (for everyone)

3. Payment (for everyone)

Directing Intensive

6th-12th Grade

March 17 - April 2 (3 wks)

Mondays & Wednesdays, 5:30-7:00pm

$60

We will cover practical as well as artistic aspects of directing.

Optional: Opportunity to direct a scene for “Moments: Spring Showcase” performing May 3 and 4

(Students may be traveling because of their Spring breaks. Students may miss up to two classes and still take advantage of directing opportunity.)

Wednesdays, 4:15-5:15pm

Dress Rehearsal: Friday, May 16, 4:30-6pm


Performances (with Tales/Tails Class):

Sat., May, 17 @ 3pm (kids arrive @ 2pm)

Sun., May 18 @ 3pm (kids arrive @ 2:30pm)

Comedians

4th-7th Grade (After School)

April 8 - May 1 (4 wks)

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:30-6:00pm

Develop acting skills, theatre exercises, games, and skits without the pressure of performance.


Class presentation: Thursday, May 1, 5:30pm

Times for class presentation subject to change.

Thursdays, 1:00-4:00pm

Scene Study: students will work on scenes/monologues to present in “Moments: Spring Showcase”

*If student has a scene or monologue, they would like to perform, submit to Ms. Jessica by April 4 at jessica@yppc.us


Dress Rehearsal: Friday, May 2, 4:30-8:30pm


Performances (w/ Apprentices and Aliens Classes):

Saturday, May 3, 7pm (kids arrive at 5:30)

Sunday, May 4, 3pm (kids arrive at 2:00)
